Introducing the All-Electric
Mustang Mach-E

Key Features

  • Design

Ford Mach-E drips Mustang-design from all angles. Signature Mustang triple-bar taillights sweep the rear of the vehicle while sleek Adaptive LED Mustang Signature headlights echo the race car and fence the muscular ridges on the Mach-E bonnet.

A swooping black roofline manipulates light to create a compact new shape of freedom. The Ford Mach-E appears sleek and coupe-like with no compromise to cabin space inside.

Your 2020 Mustang Mach-E captivates the eye whether it’s moving or parked. New unique 19-inch Mustang Alloy Wheels are added to the electric SUV paired with Red Brake Calipers (AWD spec).

  • Technology

Next generation Ford SYNC is a connected ecosystem that allows you to customise and update your Mustang Mach-E drive right from your mobile or desktop device. A cloud-connected navigation system, along with modem-based over-the-air updates is included with the system.

Interacting with Ford SYNC feels very intuitive with simple voice commands or interacting with the large, 15.5" touchscreen. It is possible to create personalised profiles for each driver and SYNC 4 will configure to your requirements as you walk towards the car. You’ll also enjoy thoughtful extras including wireless Apple CarPlayTM or Android AutoTM compatibility and WiFi is optionally available.

  • Electric Performance

This new breed of Mustang offers electrified performance. With capability of going from 0-60 mph in circa 5 seconds and up to 830Nm of torque available, this is a vehicle that has earned the right to wear the fabled Pony badge. High capacity batteries allow a potential range of up to 280 – 379 mile range (WLTP test result), allowing you to undertake most journeys without worrying about recharging.

An advanced all-wheel drive system is available on selected models, applies torque independently to the front and rear axles, delivering fast acceleration and enhanced traction.

  • Interior Design

Featuring a spacious, elegant interior, Mustang Mach-E is an inviting place to be for both the driver and passengers. The seats have been designed with Sensico, a form of vegan leather. Ambient lighting is configurable according to drive mode selected and personalised settings.

What's more, there are practical load spaces in both the front and rear, giving you plenty of versatile storage whether you are visiting the local shopping centre or heading on an adventure in the great outdoors.

Charging

  • At Home

A Ford VarioPower charge cable comes as standard with the Mustang Mach-E. The Ford Connected Wallbox is optionally available and can add over 27 miles of range per hour, giving a full charge overnight.

Combined with the FordPass app, it is possible to monitor electricity usage with each charge and manage access to the Wallbox through the lock function. There are even government incentives of up to £500 towards the total cost of installation.

  • On The Road

Charging on the go is also very easy as DC high-powered charging capability is provided, giving the opportunity to recharge 58 miles in only 10 minutes at a high-power charging station. Ford is a founding partner of IONITY, one of Europe's fastest growing charging networks and many charge points are being rolled out across the UK and Ireland during 2020.

The FordPass app and FordPass Connect modem enable you to check the battery status, locate the nearest charging station and pay for the charging power used.

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
Combining Speed Sign Recognition and Adaptive Cruise Control, your speed will be automatically set to the zone detected.

Lane CenteringWhen activated, Ford Bluecruise uses the intelligent Lane Centering technology to maintain steering control between lane markings.

Winter driving in your Mustang Mach-E

Did you know that the climate and temperature can affect the driving range of your Mustang Mach-E?

All electric vehicles have less energy when in cold temperatures, due to battery cell chemistry. Extreme temperatures often result in more 'energy' being drawn from the battery. but there are several ways you can optimise the battery to maximise efficiency.

MAXIMISE YOUR CHARGE

Here are some tips to stay comfortable and relaxed about your vehicle range when driving in winter:

  • Pre-condition or pre-heat the vehicle using the home charger and battery while plugged-in using the FordPass App.
  • Whenever possible, park in a garage or undercover.
  • If possible, always keep the Electric Vehicle plugged in whenever it is parked.
  • Use the heated seats and steering wheel as primary local heat sources for the passengers. These consume less energy.
  • If the vehicle is snow covered, brush all the snow off the vehicle before driving to eliminate extra weight and aerodynamic drag.
  • Ensure all driving assistance features, such as traction control, are turned on. Also, place the vehicle in ‘whisper’ driving mode as this moderates the forces supplied through the wheels providing gentler acceleration and braking on treacherous roads, in adverse weather.
  • Driving habits are learned by the vehicle over time. Summer driving behaviours transferred into the winter might initially result in poorer predictions. This can be alleviated by manually resetting their EV driving history at the start of winter and summer.
  • Avoid using high-power, fast charging (DC) after short driving distances. The battery needs time to heat up, under normal driving conditions, to be able to accept high charge power. Not giving your battery time to condition will impact charging performance.

RESET YOUR RANGE

Intelligent Range combines live and historical data to estimate your remaining range. As temperatures cool, weather data from warmer months can make predictions less accurate. To correct this, you can manually reset your driving history, so the system only uses the latest weather data.

On your Mustang Mach-E’s touchscreen:
  • Tap the vehicle icon in the top-left corner
  • Select Settings.
  • Select Vehicle
  • Select EV Driving History Reset
