Our sites are now open following significant preparation work to ensure important safety measures are in place. Changes include sourcing non-medical PPE for customer and colleague use, moving work stations and adding Perspex screens, creating 2 metre distance areas, adding thorough cleaning regimes and creating new disciplines in vehicle servicing and pre-handover preparation.
Every colleague has to undergo training courses and all new measures have to be in place to ensure consistent practices across the Group before reopening is approved at any TrustFord site.
TrustFord’s Chairman and CEO, Stuart Foulds said: ‘The safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues is of paramount importance; throughout our planning I have insisted that we go back when we are ready, not because we are able to. I am delighted to confirm that the team in Jersey has completed their preparation and we are now open. We are working in line with the State of Jersey’s new regulations and have added new practices to give extra reassurance to all our customers. We are also embracing Ford’s Care Programme – this is designed for customers while also keeping colleagues safe and takes the worry out of buying or servicing vehicles. Our changes also include ‘no contact’ test drives from your home and workplace and home delivery. On behalf of the board & leadership team I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing loyalty and support.’
